  • National and international distribution and sales of industrial measuring and surveying systems for shipbuilding, railway engineering, wind energy, steel and plant construction, and the paper industry.
  • Carrying out surveys and measurements per order in Germany, Europe, and worldwide on behalf of or for clients. This includes, among others:

- Surveying and scanning of machines and emergency vehicles, marking ground points for new machine constructions.

- Accident damage documentation, e.g. on rail vehicles.

- Determining concentricity and position deviations, e.g. of wind turbines or in the paper industry.

  • Leasing of industrial survey and measurement systems.
  • Developing software and computer technology as well as system components for industrial measuring systems.

History

  • 1991: Founding of company
  • 1993 to 1995: System solutions for railway applications
  • 1994 to 1997: Development of 3-DIM for shipbuilding
  • 1999 to 2005: Expansion of global sales
  • 2004: Market launch of the handheld field logger "3-DIM Observer"
  • 2006: Cooperation contracts with SOKKIA BV (Europe) and SOKKIA SCL (Japan)
  • 2006: Move to new business premises in Witten-Annen

Partnerships

SOKKIA BV has been a partner of GLM for many years. The fruitful cooperation started in 1993 and in 2006, SOKKIA started marketing and distributing industrial total stations together with GLM.

GLM supports SOKKIA's international network of dealers and distributors.

System configuration, initial startup, and training are based on many years of experience including our own measurement projects carried out on behalf of and for clients. It is our mission to realize new software and accessory specifications as quickly as possible and thus to keep in step with the continuously growing and changing requirements of the various industries.
